Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 105036  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the exhaust and the rear support.

  3. Object Number: 154308  Size: SH
  4. Remove the exhaust hangers.
  5. Remove the rear support mounting bolts.
  6. Lower the rear of the rear support and the exhaust system together.

  7. Object Number: 105039  Size: SH
  8. Remove the rear body mount retaining bolts.
  9. Remove the rear body mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 105039  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear body mount.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the rear body mount retaining bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear body mount retaining bolts to 51 N·m (38 lb ft).


  5. Object Number: 105036  Size: SH
  6. Raise the rear support and exhaust system.
  7. Install the rear support mounting bolts.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the rear support mounting bolts to 191 N·m (141 lb ft).

  9. Install the exhaust hangers.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
