Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement - Left Side LHD

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 292138 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left side sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the driver air mix actuator retaining screws (1).
  3. Remove the electrical connector from the driver air mix actuator.

  4. Remove the driver air mix actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 292133 Size: SH
  1. Install the driver air mix actuator.

    2. Object Number: 292138 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the driver air mix retaining screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.4 N·m (12 lb in).

  3. Install the electrical connector to the driver air mix actuator.
  4. Install the left side sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Recalibrate the actuators. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .

Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement - Left Side RHD

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the park brake pedal assembly. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Brakes.
  3. Remove the electrical connector from the driver air mix actuator.

  4. Remove the driver air mix actuator.

  1. Install the driver air mix actuator.

    2. Object Number: 292142 Size: SH
