- Route the accessory drive
belt around the crankshaft (5), the air conditioning compressor (4),
the idler (3), the generator (2), and the drive belt tensioner (6)
pulleys.
- Insert a 1/2 inch drive ratchet into the drive belt tensioner (6).
- Rotate the tensioner clockwise.
- Route the remainder of the belt around the power steering pulley (1).
- Slowly rotate the drive belt tensioner counter clockwise until
the drive belt is tight.
- Remove the 1/2 inch drive ratchet.
- Check the drive belt for proper seating in all pulleys.
