Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 751048  Size: SH
  1. Remove the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the left front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  3. Remove the left front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the left rear carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Remove the center pillar garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats
  7. Remove the left rear sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  8. Disconnect the radio antenna extension cable (2) from antenna cable.

  10. Pull the front and rear carpet up on the left side of the vehicle in order to expose the vehicle wiring harness.
  11. Remove the vehicle harness conduit cover (1).

  13. Remove the antenna coaxial cable from the vehicle harness, cut the cable off at the rear seat area of the harness, near the rear fuse block.

  14. Object Number: 827573  Size: SH

    Important: Ensure that the radio antenna cable is the only wiring that is cut when cutting the radio antenna cable.

  15. Disconnect radio antenna coaxial cable (3) from the antenna module. .
  16. Separate the antenna cable (3) from the wiring harness and cable clips, above the rear shelf panel.
  17. Cut the end of the radio antenna cable (3) off at the rear shelf area of the harness

Installation Procedure

  1. Route the new coaxial antenna cable from the IP through the wiring harness conduit to the rear seat area.

  2. Object Number: 827594  Size: SH
  3. Install the vehicle harness conduit cover (1).
  4. Position the carpet back to the floor, over the vehicle wiring harness.

  5. Object Number: 827573  Size: SH
  6. Route the antenna cable (3) to the antenna module.
  7. Connect the antenna cable (3) to the antenna module.
  8. Reattach the radio antenna cable (3) to the antenna module wiring harness and clips
  9. Important: Ensure the antenna cable is routed so it will not interfere with the rear seat back and bottom removal and installation procedure.

  10. Tie strap or tape the antenna cable to the electrical wiring harness, in the rear seat area.

  12. Connect the radio antenna cable (2) to the radio extension cable.
  13. Install the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  14. Install the left front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  15. Install the left rear sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  16. Install the center pillar garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  17. Install the left front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  18. Install the left rear carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  19. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats
