Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 807967 Size: SH
  1. Remove the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the garage door opener from the overhead console. Refer to Garage Door Opener Replacement in Garage Door Opener.
  3. Remove the screws (1) securing the garage door opener carrier (2) to the overhead console.

    4. Object Number: 807972 Size: SH
  4. Carefully rotate the garage door opener carrier (1) to the rear of the console.
  5. Remove the screws (2) from the microphone.
  6. Remove the noise cancellation microphone (3) from the overhead console.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 807972 Size: SH
  1. Install the noise cancellation microphone (3) to the overhead console.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the microphone screws (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5N·m (14 lb in).

  3. Rotate the garage door opener carrier (1) into position over the noise cancellation microphone.

  4. Install the garage door opener carrier screws (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5N·m (14 lb in).

  5. Install the garage door opener to the overhead console. Refer to Garage Door Opener Replacement in Garage Door Opener.
  6. Install the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
