For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Remove the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the right rear sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Lower the headliner in order to gain access to the antenna cable harness along the right side of the vehicle. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Disconnect the antenna cable connection (1) at the front of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the antenna cable (2) from the antenna module located on the rear roof beam.
- Remove the cable clips (3) from the roof beams.
- Remove the antenna cable from the vehicle.
- If the antenna cable is to be replaced, remove the antenna cable clips (3) from the antenna cable.
The new antenna cable does not have clips (3)
Installation Procedure
- If the antenna cable is to being replaced, install the antenna cable clips (3) from the antenna cable being removed from the vehicle to the new antenna cable.
- Install the antenna cable to the roof beams with the clips (3).
- Install the antenna connection (1) at the front of the vehicle.
- Connect the antenna cable (2) to the antenna module, at the rear of the vehicle.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
