This internal VICS memory test in internal to the navigation radio.
The navigation radio tests the VICS memory when it detects a power mode transition to ON.
• | The navigation radio determines there is an internal error in the radio. |
• | DTC B2466 does not set if DTC B1328 or B1327 is current. |
• | Last VICS information is displayed if requested. |
• | Limited or no VICS information is used in route guidance. |
• | VICS switch may not be displayed on the screen. |
• | This failure has no effect outside the navigation system. |
A current DTC will clear when the navigation radio does not detect the failure during the last power mode transition.
Cycle the ignition switch even after a successful inspection with a scan tool in order to initialize the system.
