Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 130703  Size: SH
  1. Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the I/P assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Disconnect the rear blower motor assembly electrical connectors.
  4. Disconnect the air ducts from the rear blower motor.
  5. Remove the rear blower motor bracket nuts.
  6. Remove the bolts retaining the rear blower bracket to the instrument panel.
  7. Remove the rear blower motor retaining bracket studs.
  8. Remove the rear blower motor insulator from under the rear blower motor assembly.
  9. Push the rear blower motor assembly down.
  10. Push the rear blower motor assembly forward in order to disengage the rear air duct.
  11. Remove the rear blower motor assembly from the passenger side of console.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 130703  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear blower to the original position.
  2. Engage the rear air duct.
  3. Install the rear blower motor insulator under the rear blower motor assembly.
  4. Install the rear blower motor retaining bracket studs.
  5. Install the bolts retaining the rear blower bracket to the instrument panel.
  6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  7. Install the rear blower motor bracket nuts.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in)

  9. Connect the air duct to the rear blower motor.
  10. Connect the rear blower motor assembly electrical connectors.
  11. Install the I/P assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  12. Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
