The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Dealers may report they are unable to find the OnStar menu in the Tech 2 for MY 05 vehicles.

The Tech 2 menu has changed with software version 24.005 or above. Technicians will no longer find a OnStar menu, they will need to enter the "Vehicle Interface Control Module" to retrieve data or perform any OnStar functions.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
