Parking Brake Indicator Switch Replacement LHD

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 153110  Size: SH
  1. Remove the left front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake warning lamp switch.
  3. Remove park brake warning lamp switch mounting bolt.
  4. Remove park brake warning lamp switch.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 153110  Size: SH
  1. Install the park brake warning lamp switch to the park brake lever assembly. Align the pin to the locator hole.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the park brake warning lamp switch mounting bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the park brake warning lamp switch mounting bolt to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the park brake warning lamp switch.
  6. Install the left front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake warning lamp switch.
  2. Remove park brake warning lamp switch mounting bolt.
  3. Remove park brake warning lamp switch.
