Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Radiator Air Baffle

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cruise control bracket. Refer to Distance Sensing Cruise Control Bracket Replacement.
  2. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor. Refer to Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Replacement.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

  5. Remove the LH radiator air baffle lower screws.

  6. Object Number: 929130  Size: SH
  7. Remove the RH radiator air baffle lower screw.

  8. Object Number: 929141  Size: SH
  9. Remove the LH side air deflector retainer pins.

  10. Object Number: 929147  Size: SH
  11. Remove the RH side air deflector retainer pins.
  12. Lower the vehicle.

  13. Object Number: 929132  Size: SH
  14. Remove the LH radiator air baffle upper retainer pin (1).

  15. Object Number: 929137  Size: SH
  16. Remove the RH radiator air baffle upper retainer pin (1).

  17. Object Number: 929152  Size: SH
  18. Remove the radiator air baffle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 929152  Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator air baffle.

  2. Object Number: 929137  Size: SH
  3. Install the RH radiator air baffle upper retainer pin (1).

  4. Object Number: 929132  Size: SH
  5. Install the LH radiator air baffle upper retainer pin (1).
  6. Raise and support the vehicle.

  7. Object Number: 929147  Size: SH
  8. Install the RH side air deflector retainer pins.

  9. Object Number: 929141  Size: SH
  10. Install the LH side air deflector retainer pins.
  11. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  12. Install the RH radiator air baffle lower screw.
  13. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  14. Install the LH radiator air baffle lower screws.
  15. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  16. Lower the vehicle.
  17. Install the ambient air temperature sensor. Refer to Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Replacement.
  18. Install the cruise control bracket. Refer to Distance Sensing Cruise Control Bracket Replacement.

Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Front Air Deflector

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 929130  Size: SH

    Important: Remove the outer most front fascia screws to add additional clearance when removing the front air deflector.

  3. Remove the RH radiator air baffle lower screw.

  4. Object Number: 929127  Size: SH
  5. Remove the LH radiator air baffle lower screws.
  6. Remove the front air deflector upper mounting screws.

  7. Object Number: 963065  Size: SH
  8. Remove the front air deflector bolts from the frame support.
  9. Remove the front air deflector.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front air deflector.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application.   3. Install the front air deflector bolts to the frame support.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the front air deflector upper mounting screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  7. Install the LH radiator air baffle lower screws.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).


    Object Number: 929130  Size: SH
  9. Install the RH radiator air baffle lower screw.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  11. Lower the vehicle.
