Scan Tool Data Definitions Domestic and Europe Export

Battery Voltage Signal: The scan tool displays 8-17 volts. The amount of battery voltage available at the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR).

LF Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays 0-351.6 kPa (0-51 psi). The actual pressure of the left front tire.

LF Tire Pressure Sensor Status: The scan tool displays Failed or Normal. Failed indicates the RCDLR is not receiving transmissions from the left front tire pressure sensor. Normal indicates the RCDLR is receiving transmissions from the left front tire pressure sensor.

LR Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays 0-351.6 kPa (0-51 psi). The actual pressure of the left rear tire.

LR Tire Pressure Sensor Status: The scan tool displays Failed or Normal. Failed indicates the RCDLR is not receiving transmissions from the left rear tire pressure sensor. Normal indicates the RCDLR is receiving transmissions from the left rear tire pressure sensor.

Manual Tire Programming: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. Active indicates the TPM system is in sensor programming mode. Inactive indicates the TPM system is not in the sensor programming mode.

RF Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays 0-351.6 kPa (0-51 psi). The actual pressure of the right front tire.

RF Tire Pressure Sensor status: The scan tool displays Failed or Normal. Failed indicates the RCDLR is not receiving transmissions from the right front tire pressure sensor. Normal indicates the RCDLR is receiving transmissions from the right front tire pressure sensor.

RR Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays 0-351.6 kPa (0-51 psi). The actual pressure of the right rear tire.

RR Tire Pressure Sensor Status: The scan tool displays Failed or Normal. Failed indicates the RCDLR is not receiving transmissions from the right rear tire pressure sensor. Normal indicates the RCDLR is receiving transmissions from the right rear tire pressure sensor.

Tire Pressure Sensor ID: The scan tool displays Valid or Invalid. Valid indicates all 4 of the sensors ID codes are valid. Invalid indicates that at least 1 of the sensors ID codes are invalid.

Ign. Cycles Since TPM Reset: The scan tool displays 0-65535. The number of ignition cycles since the last TPM system reset.

Ignition Voltage Signal: The scan tool displays 0-17 volts. The level of ignition voltage available at the electronic brake control module (EBCM).

Low Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays None, Front, or Rear. None indicates the TPM system has not detected a low tire pressure condition. Front indicates the TPM system has detected a low tire pressure condition with ether the left or right front tires. Rear indicates the TPM system has detected a low tire pressure condition with ether the left or right rear tires.

Speed Range 0 Monitoring: The scan tool displays No, Partial, or Complete. No indicates that speed range 0 is not calibrated, or that tire pressure detection is inhibited due to non straight line, or rough road driving and has no tire pressure detection capability. Partial indicates that speed range 0 is half way calibrated, or that tire pressure detection is partially inhibited due to non straight line, or rough road driving and has limited tire pressure detection capability. Complete indicates that speed range 0 is fully calibrated and has full tire pressure detection capability.

Speed Range 1 Monitoring: The scan tool displays No, Partial, or Complete. No indicates that speed range 1 is not calibrated, or that tire pressure detection is inhibited due to non straight line, or rough road driving and has no tire pressure detection capability. Partial indicates that speed range 1 is half way calibrated, or that tire pressure detection is partially inhibited due to non straight line, or rough road driving and has limited tire pressure detection capability. Complete indicates that speed range 1 is fully calibrated and has full tire pressure detection capability.

Speed Range 2 Monitoring: The scan tool displays No, Partial, or Complete. No indicates that speed range 2 is not calibrated, or that tire pressure detection is inhibited due to non straight line, or rough road driving and has no tire pressure detection capability. Partial indicates that speed range 2 is half way calibrated, or that tire pressure detection is partially inhibited due to non straight line, or rough road driving and has limited tire pressure detection capability. Complete indicates that speed range 2 is fully calibrated and has full tire pressure detection capability.

Switched Battery Signal: The scan tool displays 7-17 volts. The amount of battery voltage available at the electronic brake control module (EBCM) when the ABS relay is activated.

TPM Failed: The scan tool displays Yes or No. Yes indicates the EBCM has detected a malfunction with the TPM system. No indicates the TPM system is operating to specifications.

TPM Reset in Current Ign. Cycle: The scan tool displays Yes or No. Yes indicates the TPM system has been reset set within the ignition cycle the vehicle is currently in. No indicates the TPM system has not been reset within the ignition cycle the vehicle is currently in.

Vehicle Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h (0-155 mph). The actual speed of the vehicle.
