Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Remove the battery. Refer to
Battery Replacement
.
Disengage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp at the heater pipe assembly.
Disconnect the heater inlet hose from the heater pipe assembly.
Disconnect the heater inlet hose from the underhood junction box retainer clip (1).
Disengage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp at the water pump.
Disconnect the heater inlet hose (1) from the water pump.
Remove the heater inlet hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Important:
Lubricate the inside diameters of the hose with clean coolant prior to installation.
Install the heater inlet hose on to the vehicle.
Connect the heater inlet hose (1) to the water pump.
Engage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp at the water pump.
Connect the heater inlet hose to the underhood junction box retainer clip (1).
Connect the heater inlet hose to the heater pipe assembly.
Engage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp at the heater pipe assembly.
Install the battery. Refer to
Battery Replacement

Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
