Removal Procedure
- Open the hood.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
- Remove the push-in fasteners attaching the upper close-out panel to the front panel.
- Remove the front fascia close-out panels. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement
.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fog lamps.
- Remove the push-in fasteners (3) attaching the air deflector extensions to the fascia.
- Remove screws (1) attaching the bottom side of the fascia to the air deflector.
- Release the sides of the fascia (4) from the fender brackets by pulling the fascia straight out.
- Disconnect the headlamp washer hose connector (5).
- Remove the push-in fasteners (2) attaching the top side of the grille to the front panel.
- With an assistant, remove the fascia by pulling the fascia forward from the vehicle.
- Save any and all brackets, clips, and accessories for transfer to the fascia, if required.
Installation Procedure
- Install any and all brackets, clips, and accessories for transfer to the fascia, if required.
- With an assistant, position the fascia to the vehicle.
- Install the push-in fasteners (2) that attach the grille to the front panel.
- Install the push-in fasteners (3) that attach the air deflector extensions to the fascia.
- Connect the headlamp washer hose connector (5).
- Position the sides of the fascia (4) to the fender brackets and snap in to place.
- Connect the fog lamp electrical connectors to the fog lamps.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the screws (1) that attach the bottom side of the fascia to the air deflector.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the front fascia close-out panels. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement
.
- Install the push-in fasteners that attach the upper close-out panel to the front panel.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Close the hood.
