Rear License Plate Lamp Bulb Replacement for Cadillac XLR 2005

1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the trim panel from the rear compartment lid. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
3. Access the license lamp bulb/socket through the inner compartment lid.



4. Remove the bulb/socket from the license lamp by rotate the socket counterclockwise (1).



5. Remove the bulb from the socket.

1. Install the bulb to the socket.
2. Inspect the bulb for proper operation.



3. Install the bulb/socket to the license lamp by rotating the bulb/socket clockwise (1) until fully seated.
4. Install the trim panel to the rear compartment lid. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
5. Close the rear compartment.
