For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Partially cycle the folding top to open, so that the roof panels are stowed in the rear compartment, and the folding top front closeout panel and the rear compartment lid are in the up position.
- Remove the 3 screws (1) from the outer closeout panel guide pin receiver.
- Remove the receiver from the receiver support.
- Remove the lower rear adjustment screw (1) from the receiver support.
- Remove the receiver support from the vehicle
Installation Procedure
- Position the receiver support to the vehicle.
- Loosely install the lower rear adjustment screw (1) to the receiver support.
- Position the front outer closeout panel guide pin receiver to the receiver support.
- Loosely install the remaining screws (1) to the receiver.
- Lift the front of the receiver support upward to the full up position.
- Tighten all screws until fully seated.
- Cycle the folding top closed. Refer to Closing the Folding Top .
Important: Do not overtighten the screws.
