Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 929144 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fasteners (1, 3) and push-pins (2) from the forward wheelhouse splash shield (4) to access the underside of the bumper cover.

    2. Object Number: 1070798 Size: SH
  2. Slide the hose lock connector (4) at the headlamp washer (2). Disconnect the hose.
  3. Remove the retaining clip (3) from the headlamp washer.
  4. Remove the headlamp washer (2) from the topside of the bumper cover (1).

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the headlamp washer to the topside of the bumper cover.

    2. Object Number: 1070798 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure that the detent on the retaining clip snaps into the fully seated position.

  2. Install the retaining clip (3) to the headlamp washer (2) at the underside of the bumper cover (1).
  3. Connect the hose to the headlamp washer. Slide the lock connector (4) to the closed position.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the wheelhouse splash shield (4) and fasteners (1, 2, 3) to the forward part of the wheelhouse.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the threaded fasteners to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Inspect the washer for leaks. Verify the operation of the washer.
