Options Not Available Message Displayed on the DIC - keyword 1st 2nd 3rd 4th DIC fob key personalization

This PI has been updated to add the Chevrolet Corvette. Please discard PIC4095.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When entering the vehicle, the "Options Not Available" message may display on the DIC. This is the result of a customer entering the vehicle with a 3rd or 4th key fob programmed to the vehicle. Entering with a 3rd or 4th programmed fob, the driver will be able to change all personalization settings for that ignition cycle. None of the personalization features selected or changed will be able to be recalled to the 3rd or 4th key fob. Only the key fob(s) programmed for Driver 1 and/or 2 can be programmed to recall personalization features.

This is a normal operating characteristic and no repairs are recommended. Entering the vehicle with any other fob not programmed for Driver 1 or Driver 2 will result with this concern.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
