Preliminary Procedure

Remove the windshield wiper system module. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement.

Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt (Qty: 3)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Windshield Wiper Motor Crank Arm

Procedure

1. Position the wiper motor to the wiper transmission assembly.
2. Install the 2 wiper motor to transmission assembly bolts and secure.
3. Position the wiper motor crank arm to the wiper motor already on the wiper transmission.
4. Align the wiper motor crank arm with the attached transmission drive link.
5. Place the crank arm to the wiper motor.
6. Install the wiper motor to crank arm bolt and secure using the above listed torque value.
