Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
- Disconnect the auxiliary lower transmission line to the auxiliary transmission oil cooler (TOC). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
- Remove the lower TOC line from the auxiliary TOC.
- Disconnect the radiator to auxiliary TOC line from the auxiliary TOC. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
- Remove the radiator to TOC line from the auxiliary TOC.
- Remove the auxiliary TOC retaining bolts.
- Remove the auxiliary TOC from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the auxiliary TOC to the vehicle.
- Install the auxiliary TOC retaining bolts.
- Install the radiator to TOC line to the auxiliary TOC.
- Connect the radiator to TOC line to the auxiliary TOC. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
- Install the lower TOC line to the auxiliary TOC.
- Connect the lower TOC line to the auxiliary TOC. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
- Install the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Fill the transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Fill Procedure .
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
