The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that when using the Ignition Mode Switch, a momentary press of the Mode Switch will no longer allow the Ignition to change modes. For the 2007 model year a change was made to the Mode Switch operation. This will require the operator to press and hold the Mode Switch for 1-2 seconds in order for the Ignition to change modes. The only exception to this would be the "Ignition On - Engine Off" mode. This will require pressing and holding the Mode Switch to the Accessory position until the entire vehicle powers on with out the engine running.
Recommendation/Instructions:
This is normal operation. No repairs are recommended.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
