The electronic brake control module (EBCM) detects an internal malfunction.
The ignition switch is in the ON position.
An internal EBCM malfunction exists.
• | The EBCM disables the antilock brake system (ABS). |
• | The EBCM disables or degrades the dynamic rear proportioning (DRP) function. |
• | A DIC message and/or a warning indicator may be displayed. |
• | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
• | The EBCM automatically clears a history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 40 consecutive drive cycles. |
