Preliminary Procedure

1. Disconnect the charge air cooler coolant pump electrical connector.
2. Drain the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling.

Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Assembly, (Pump to Cooler)

Procedure

1. Using J 38185 position the air cooler coolant hose to pump hose clamp.
2. Remove the air charge coolant hose from the charge air cooler coolant pump.

Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Assembly, (Pump to Radiator)

Procedure

1. Using J 38185 position the air cooler coolant hose to pump hose clamp.
2. Remove the air charge coolant hose from the charge air cooler coolant pump.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
8 N·m (71 lb in)
