Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
- Remove the intermediate exhaust pipe hanger lower bolts (3).
- Remove the left and right exhaust manifold nuts (2).
- Lower the front of the intermediate exhaust pipe (1).
- Remove the exhaust seal (3).
Installation Procedure
- Install a NEW exhaust seal (3).
- Raise the front of the intermediate exhaust pipe (1).
- Install the left and right exhaust manifold nuts (2) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
- Install the exhaust pipe hanger lower bolts (3) and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
- Lower the vehicle.
