Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1685839 Size: SH
  1. Remove front section of the supercharger inlet duct. Refer to Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement.
  2. Loosen the screw clamps on the supercharger inlet duct seals.
  3. Remove the supercharger inlet duct seals (2).

    4. Object Number: 1685842 Size: SH
  4. Remove the supercharger assembly. Refer to Supercharger Replacement.

    5. Object Number: 1685836 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear section of the supercharger inlet duct assembly. Refer to Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement.
  6. Loosen the screw clamp on the supercharger inlet duct seal.
  7. Remove the supercharger inlet duct seal.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1685836 Size: SH
  1. Install the supercharger inlet duct seal and clamp to the throttle body.
  2. Tighten the supercharger inlet duct seal screw clamp to 2.5N·m (20 lb in).
  3. Install the rear section of the supercharger inlet duct assembly to the supercharger and tighten to 2.5N·m (20 lb in). Refer to Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 1685842 Size: SH
  4. Install the supercharger assembly. Refer to Supercharger Replacement.

    5. Object Number: 1685839 Size: SH
  5. Install the supercharger inlet duct seals and clamps (2) to the front section of the supercharger inlet duct.
  6. Tighten the screw clamps on the supercharger inlet duct seals to 2.5N·m (20 lb in).
  7. Install the front section of the supercharger inlet duct. Refer to Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement.
