Left Side Harness Connections

    Object Number: 1787219 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine wiring harness to the engine.

    2. Object Number: 927839 Size: SH
  2. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left side fuel injectors.

    3. Object Number: 927781 Size: SH
  3. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left camshaft cover.

    4. Object Number: 927828 Size: SH
  4. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left ignition coil harness.

    5. Object Number: 927792 Size: SH
  5. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left camshaft position sensors.

    6. Object Number: 927862 Size: SH
  6. Connect the engine wiring harness to the EVAP purge solenoid.

    7. Object Number: 927869 Size: SH
  7. Connect the engine wiring harness to the throttle position sensor on the throttle body.

    8. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  8. Connect the starter motor wiring harness to the generator stud.
  9. Install the nut attaching the starter motor wiring harness to the generator stud and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  10. Connect the engine wiring harness to the generator.

    11. Object Number: 927853 Size: SH
  11. Connect the engine wiring harness to the oil pressure sensor.

    12. Object Number: 927859 Size: SH
  12. Connect the engine wiring harness from the oxygen sensor wiring harness.

    13. Object Number: 927864 Size: SH
  13. Connect the engine wiring harness to the starter motor wiring harness.

    14. Object Number: 927773 Size: SH
  14. Install the bolt and nut retaining the engine wiring harness to the engine block and tighten to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).
  15. Install the engine wiring harness ground bolt at the front of the engine block and tighten to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

    16. Object Number: 927870 Size: SH
  16. Install the engine wiring harness ground bolt at the rear of the engine block and tighten to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

    17. Object Number: 1254575 Size: SH
  17. Install the bolt retaining the engine wiring harness to the left camshaft position actuator housing and tighten to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

Right Side Harness Connections

    Object Number: 927838 Size: SH
  1. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right side fuel injectors.

    2. Object Number: 927778 Size: SH
  2. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right camshaft cover.

    3. Object Number: 927822 Size: SH
  3. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right ignition coil harness.

    4. Object Number: 927790 Size: SH
  4. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right camshaft position sensors.

    5. Object Number: 927871 Size: SH
  5. Install the engine wiring harness ground to the fuel rail stud.
  6. Install the engine wiring harness ground nut to the fuel rail stud and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

    7. Object Number: 927819 Size: SH
  7. Connect the engine wiring harness to the ECT sensor at the rear of the right cylinder head.

    8. Object Number: 927786 Size: SH
  8. Connect the engine wiring harness to the air conditioning compressor.

    9. Object Number: 927850 Size: SH
  9. Connect the engine wiring harness to the MAP sensor.

    10. Object Number: 927798 Size: SH
  10. Connect the engine wiring harness to the knock and crankshaft position sensor wiring harness.

    11. Object Number: 927846 Size: SH
  11. Connect the engine wiring harness to the oil level sensor.

    12. Object Number: 927856 Size: SH
  12. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right oxygen sensor wiring harness.

    13. Object Number: 927770 Size: SH
  13. Install the engine wiring harness bracket bolt to the engine block and tighten to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).
