    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1040260 Size: SH
  1. Install the bypass hole plug (4) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

    2. Note: The oil filter bypass valve is not a replaceable component, the oil filter adapter must be replaced if the oil filter bypass valve requires replacement.

  2. Install the oil filter fitting (3) and tighten to 29 N·m (21 lb ft).
  3. Install the oil pressure switch (5) and tighten to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).
  4. Install the NEW oil filter adapter gasket (1).
