Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 561128 Size: SH
  1. Remove the right fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement - Right Side.
  2. Disconnect the vent hose from the EVAP canister.

    3. Object Number: 609762 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the purge pipe at the EVAP canister.

    4. Object Number: 561136 Size: SH
  4. Remove the EVAP canister bracket bolt (3).
  5. Remove the EVAP canister (1) from the EVAP canister bracket (2).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 561136 Size: SH
  1. Install the new EVAP canister (1) to the EVAP canister bracket (2).
  2. Install the EVAP canister bracket bolt (3) and tighten to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 609762 Size: SH
  3. Connect the purge pipe at the EVAP canister.

    4. Object Number: 561128 Size: SH
  4. Connect the vent hose to the EVAP canister.
  5. Install the right fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement - Right Side.
