Radio Volume Compensator Interior Noise Microphone Replacement for Cadillac XLR 2009

1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement.



2. Remove the 2 retaining screws from the microphone.
3. Remove the microphone from the knee bolster trim panel.

1. Install the microphone to the knee bolster trim panel.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




2. Install the 2 retaining screws to the microphone and tighten to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
3. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement.
