Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1226209 Size: SH
  3. Remove the retaining bolts from the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  4. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1226209 Size: SH
  1. Install the sensor from the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the retaining bolts to the inflatable restraint side impact sensor and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
  3. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
