Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 928205 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the crankshaft sensor retaining bolt.
  4. Remove the crankshaft sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 928205 Size: SH

    Note: Inspect the crankshaft sensor O-ring for wear or damage. If a problem is found, replace the O-ring.

  1. Lubricate the crankshaft sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the crankshaft sensor and the retaining bolt and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  3. Connect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement.
  5. Operate the engine and inspect crankshaft sensor for engine oil leaks.
  6. Perform the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn.
