🢒 Antenna Ground Plate Replacement
Removal Procedure
Open the rear compartment lid.
Remove the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to
Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement
.
Remove 15 retaining bolts from the antenna ground plate.
Disconnect the electrical lead to the ground plate.
Remove the antenna ground plate from the vehicle.
Remove the retaining screws that secure the antenna modules to the antenna ground plate and remove the 2 antenna modules from the ground plate.
Installation Procedure
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Install the 2 antenna modules to the antenna ground plate with the retaining screws and tighten to
1.8 N·m (16 lb in)
.
Position the ground plate to the rear compartment lid and connect the electrical lead to the ground plate.
Install 15 retaining bolts to the antenna ground plate and tighten to
10 N·m (89 lb in)
.
Install the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to
Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement
.
Close the rear compartment lid.
