Preliminary Procedure

Remove the front wheelhouse liner in order to access the lamp assembly. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.

Front Fog Lamp Bulb

Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning in the Preface section.

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp bulb socket.
  2. Rotate the bulb socket counter-clockwise and remove from the lamp assembly.

Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement XLR

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the front fog lamp electrical connector from the fog lamp bulb/socket.

    3. Object Number: 918899 Size: SH

    Warning: Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal injury:

       • Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing the bulb.
       • Leave the lamp switch OFF until the bulb change is complete.
       • Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
       • Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass.
       • Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb.
       • Properly dispose of the used bulb.
       • Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.

  3. Remove the fog lamp bulb/socket from the fog lamp by rotating the bulb/socket counterclockwise (1).

  4. Remove the fog lamp bulb/socket (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 922582 Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb/socket (1) to the fog lamp.

    2. Object Number: 918903 Size: SH
  2. Rotate the bulb/socket clockwise (1) until the bulb/socket is fully seated.
  3. Connect the front fog lamp electrical connector to the fog lamp bulb/socket.
  4. Inspect the fog lamp for proper operation.
  5. Install the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
  6. Aim the fog lamp. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.
