Warning: Do not attempt to repair or alter the head impact energy-absorbing material glued to the headliner or to the garnish trims. If the material is damaged, replace the headliner and/or the garnish trim. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.

1. Manually open the folding top (A) as shown in the illustration. Refer to Folding Top Manual Operation.



2. Remove the screw from the trim panel retainer.
3. Remove the trim panel retainer from the roof panel by pulling to disengage the retainers.

1. Install the trim panel retainer to the roof panel. Push to engage the retainers.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the retainer screws and tighten to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
3. Manually close the folding top. Refer to Folding Top Manual Operation.
