Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1224656 Size: SH
  2. Remove the retaining screws from the bottom of the switch pad.
  3. Pull outward to disengage the retaining clip.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    5. Object Number: 1224702 Size: SH
  5. Remove the retaining screws from the DIC switch.
  6. Remove the DIC switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1224702 Size: SH
  1. Install the DIC switch to the IP cluster bezel.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the DIC switch retaining screws and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1224598 Size: SH
  3. Connect the DIC switch electrical connector.
  4. Install the retaining screw at the bottom of the DIC switch pad and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
  5. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement.
