Cause	Action
The ignition switch is damaged.	Replace the ignition switch assembly. Refer to Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle and Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
The connection at the ignition switch or the column connectors is loose.	Reconnect the connectors and tighten the bolt to specification Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Check the operation of the system.
