A scan tool can connect to the data link connector (DLC). The connection allows the scan tool to communicate with the following components:

| • | The Passlock Module |
| • | The Supplemental Inflatable Restraint Sensing Diagnostic Module |
| • | The Electronic Brake Control Module |
| • | The Automatic Transfer Case Shift Control Module |
| • | The Compass and Temperature Display Module in the Overhead Console |
You can then monitor the system operations for the diagnostic purposes.
