  2. If SC or OC appears in the temperature display during the operation, inspect for the following conditions:
  3. • Missing connector seal
    • Damage to the connector seal
    • Bad connections at the ambient air temperature sensor
    • Bad connections at the compass and temperature display module
  4. Inspect the condition of the GAUGES (FUSES 4). If the fuse is open, locate and repair the source of the overload. Replace the fuse.
  5. Inspect that ground G105 and ground G107 are clean and tight.
  6. If the compass and temperature display module is blank, inspect for bad connections in the following locations:
  7. • The compass and temperature display module connector
    • Connector C100 terminal C2
  8. Inspect for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause a system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with the system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded. If possible, check these circuits by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
  9. Inspect for the proper installation of the aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of the other systems. Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures.
