Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

1. Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver.
2. Connect a fused jumper from the remote control door lock receiver CKT 1095 (TAN) cavity G to ground.
3. Move either power door lock switch to the LOCK position.
4. Keep the jumper connected for the remainder of this test.

Does the rear power door lock motor lock?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

Replace the remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Receiver Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

--

Go to Step 4

Reprogram the replacement remote control door lock receiver to the transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming .

Is the reprogramming complete?

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

--

1. Disconnect the rear door lock motor connector.
2. Place either power door lock switch in the LOCK position.
3. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 295 (GRY) cavity B to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

1. Place either power door lock switch in the LOCK position.
2. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 between CKT 294 (TAN) cavity A and CKT 295 (GRY) cavity B at the rear door lock motor.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 9

Repair the open in CKT 295 (GRY) between the rear door lock motor and splice S228.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

Replace the rear door lock motor. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door Remote .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 294/1095 (TAN) from the rear door lock motor connector to the remote control door lock receiver connector.

Is the repair complete?
