Did you perform the Outside Mirrors System Check?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Disconnect the LH Outside Rearview Power Mirror.
2. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 89 (LT GRN) cavity D at the LH outside power mirror to ground.
3. Press the switch in the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

1. Using a test lampJ 35616-200 backprobe CKT 89 (LT GRN) from the Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Switch to ground.
2. Press the Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Switch to the DOWN position

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 4

Replace the outside rearview mirror control switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the LH outside power mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Locate and repair an open in CKT 89 (LT GRN) between the outside power mirror and the outside rearview mirror control switch.

Is the repair complete?
