Did you perform the Outside Mirrors System Check?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Disconnect the RH outside power mirror.
2. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 889 (PPL/WHT) cavity D at the RH outside power mirror to ground.
3. Move the Selector Switch to the right position.
4. Press the switch in the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

1. Using a test lampJ 35616-200 backprobe CKT 889 (PPL/WHT) from the Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Switch to ground.
2. Press the switch in the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the RH outside power mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Locate and repair an open in CKT 889 (PPL/WHT) between the RH outside power mirror and the outside rearview mirror control switch.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the outside rearview mirror control switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
