  2. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 540 (ORN) cavity G at the door lock control module to ground.

    3. Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 1050 (BLK) cavity A to CKT 540 (ORN) cavity G at the door lock control module.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the door lock control module and splice S227.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

  1. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 195 (LT BLU) cavity C at the door lock control module to ground.
  2. Press the door lock switch to the LOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 1050 (BLK) between the door lock control module and splice S229.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

  1. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 194 (WHT) cavity D at the door lock control module to ground.
  2. Press the door lock switch to the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 9

Repair the open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between the door lock control module and splice S232.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

  1. Close the side door.
  2. Connect a DMMJ 39200 from CKT 1897 (ORN/BLK) cavity F at the door lock control module to ground.

Is there continuity?

--

Go to Step 13

Go to Step 11

Repair the open in CKT 194 (WHT) between the door lock control module and splice S231.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Open the side door with the DMM still connected.

Is there continuity?

--

Go to Step 14

  1. Disconnect the side door jamb switch.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from CKT 1897 (ORN/BLK) at the side door jamb switch to ground.
  3. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 form CKT 1897 (ORN/BLK) cavity F at the door lock control module to cavity G.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Disconnect the side door jamb switch.
  2. Connect a DMMJ 39200 from CKT 1897 (ORN/BLK) cavity F at the door lock control module to ground.

Is there continuity?

Go to Step 18

Replace the door lock control module.

Replace the side door jamb switch.

Repair the open in CKT 1897 (ORN/BLK) between the door lock control module and the side door jamb switch.

Inspect for a short to ground in CKT 1897 (ORN/BLK) between the door lock control module and the side door jamb switch.
