Seat Cushion Trim Cover and Pad Replacement YC5 and YC6

1. Remove the bucket seat from the seat risers. Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster



2. Remove the screws retaining the recliner handles.
3. Remove the levers from the recliners.

Important: Note the positions of the hog rings for reassembly.

4. Remove the hog rings retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.
5. Remove the J-hooks retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.



6. Remove the trim cover and pad from the seat cushion frame.
7. Remove the trim cover from the pad.

1. Install the trim cover to the pad.
2. Install the trim cover and the pad to the seat cushion frame.
3. Install the J-hooks retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.
4. Install the hog rings retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.
5. Install the levers to the recliners.



6. Install the left and right recliner handle retaining screws.
7. Install the bucket seat to the seat risers. Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster

Seat Cushion Trim Cover and Pad Replacement YC7

1. Remove the bucket seat from the seat risers. Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster

Important: Note the position and length of the bolts you remove. This will assist with reassembly.

2. Remove the 4 bolts retaining the hinges to the seat cushion frame.
3. Remove the J-hooks retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.

Important: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.

4. Remove the hog rings retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.



5. Remove the trim cover and pad from the seat cushion frame.

Important: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.




6. Remove the hog rings retaining the trim cover to the pad.

Remove the trim cover from the pad.

1. Install the rear seat trim cover to the pad.



2. Install the hog rings retaining the trim cover to the pad in the locations noted during disassembly.



3. Install the trim cover and the pad to the seat cushion frame.
4. Install the hog rings retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.
5. Install the J-hooks retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

6. Install the 4 bolts retaining the hinges to the seat cushion frame.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

7. Install the bucket seat to the seat risers. Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster
