Road test the vehicle in order to verify the customer complaint.

Inspect the tires for the proper inflation pressure. Refer to Tire Inflation Pressure Specifications in Maintenance and Lubrication.

Is the tire inflation pressure correct?

Inflate the tires to the correct pressure.

Inspect the vehicle trim height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection . Repair as necessary.

Inspect the following suspension components for wear or damage.

    • Front Coil Springs
    • Front and Rear Shock Absorbers
    • Leaf Springs

Are any of the components worn or damaged?

Replace all of the worn or damaged components.

    • For any front coil springs replacement, refer to Front Coil Springs Replacement in Front Suspension.
    • For shock absorber replacement, refer to Shock Absorber Replacement in Front Suspension or Shock Absorber Replacement in Rear Suspension.
    • For Leaf spring replacement, refer to Spring Leaf Replacement in Rear Suspension.
