  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn the fan switch slowly from the OFF position to the LO position.

Does the blower motor operate in the LO position?

Turn the fan switch slowly from the LO position to the M1 position.

Does the blower motor operate in the M1 position?

  1. Disconnect the blower motor resistor and relay pack connector C2.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 60 (YEL) cavity E to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Turn the fan switch slowly from the M1 position to the M2 position.

Does the blower motor operate in the M2 position?

  1. Disconnect the blower motor resistor and relay pack connector C2.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 63 (TAN) cavity D to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Using a test lamp backprobe from the heater and A/C control module connector C2 CKT 60 (YEL) cavity A to ground.

Replace the blower motor resistor and relay pack.

  1. Disconnect the blower motor resistor and relay pack connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 72 (LT BLU) cavity F to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?
