Inspect the HTR - A/C Fuse 12 at IP fuse block.

Is the fuse operational?

  1. Locate and repair the overload. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
  2. Replace the HTR - A/C Fuse 12.

Inspect RR Heat A/C Fuse at the Underhood Fuse Block.

Is the fuse operational?

  1. Locate and repair the overload. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
  2. Replace the RR Heat A/C Fuse.

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Place the rear air conditioning (A/C) switch in LOW.
  3. Using a test lamp backprobe from the rear A/C resistor pack CKT 1176 (YEL) cavity C to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Inspect for a poor connection at the rear A/C resistor pack.

Does a poor connection exist?

Using a test lamp backprobe from the rear A/C switch CKT 1176 (YEL) cavity F to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Replace the rear A/C resistor pack.

Inspect for a poor connection at the rear A/C switch.
