  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Disconnect the rear heater switch connector.

Did the rear heater blower motor stop running?

Replace the rear heater switch.

Refer to Control Switch Replacement - Auxiliary in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.

Disconnect the rear heater resistor pack.

Did the rear heater blower motor stop running?

Connect a test lamp between the rear heater switch CKT 1925 (RED) cavity A to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair the short to voltage in CKT 1924 (WHT) or CKT 1172 (YEL).
