Did you perform the Lighting Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Disconnect the instrument panel (IP) compartment lamp connector.
  2. Measure voltage with DMM from CKT 1732 (ORN) cavity A to the IP compartment lamp connector to ground.

Is the specified voltage present?

B+

Go to Step 3

Inspect for an open in CKT 1050 (BLK) between the IP compartment lamp and Ground G200.

Did you find an open?

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in CKT 1050 (BLK) between the IP compartment lamp and Ground G200.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the IP compartment lamp assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Lamp Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 1732 (ORN) between the IP compartment lamp and S258.

Is the repair complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
