Did you review the Wiper/Washer operation and perform the necessary inspections?

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn the rear window wiper/washer switch to the DELAY position.
  3. Use a DMM and backprobe between CKT 141 (BRN) cavity B and CKT 150 (BLK) wire cavity C of the rear window wiper/washer module connector during the wiper operation.

Does the wiper show continuity during the sweep cycle and lose continuity momentarily as the wiper approaches the PARK position?

Replace the rear window wiper/washer module.

Refer to Liftgate Wiper Motor Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Inspect the following circuits for damage:

    • CKT 141 (BRN)
    • CKT 150 (BLK)

Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Did you find any damage?

Repair the following circuits for damage:

    • CKT 141 (BRN)
    • CKT 150 (BLK)

Replace the rear window wiper motor.
