  1. Disconnect the HVAC control module.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. Connect a test lamp from CKT 1442 (RED) at the HVAC control module connector C1 to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair an open in CKT 1442 (RED) between the HVAC control module connector C1 and the underhood fuse block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Connect a test lamp from CKT 141 (BRN) at the HVAC control module connector C1 cavity A to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair an open in CKT 141 (BRN) between the HVAC control module connector C1 and the IP fuse block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Connect a test lamp from CKT 141 (BRN) at the HVAC control module connector C1 cavity A to CKT 1050 (BLK) cavity C.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Replace the HVAC control module. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

Repair an open in CKT 1050 (BLK) between the HVAC control module connector C1 and G200. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
